It is our pleasure to announce the upcoming 7th Toyama-Basel Joint Symposium with the main theme “Connect to the Future – Sustainable Collaborations for Drug Development”. The symposium will take place on August 29th and 30th, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM CET on both days.
The meeting will consist of the following four sessions:
· Industry-University Collaboration
· Student Oral Presentation
· Computational Pharmacy and Artificial Intelligence-assisted Pharmaceutical Research
· Pharmaceuticals and Bioscience
The meeting is organized as a hybrid event, allowing participation either online via Zoom or in person in Toyama, Japan. While there is no registration fee, attendees must register to receive the Zoom link for the symposium. Please register by August 18th under

On a personal note: We have since many years a close partnership with the Universities of Toyama, which we value very much. This has led to interesting scientific collaborations and an exchange program for students. Students from both countries have thus the possibility to visit each other and to work as visiting scientists in another country, i.e. Japan. Please support us by registering and actively participating in this joint meeting. Thank you very much!
